The way your job is SUPPOSED to work is we, the customer, carries a part in and lay it on the counter. You, the partsman, look at it, spit some tobacco juice towards the trash can and say "I ain't seen one of those in a while". You then walk off into the shelves, and directly you come back, knock some dust off our part and toss it on the counter. OF COURSE it fits.
