Most crp here is grown up in mesquites and wild plumbs. Probably has weeds and grass burrs.

I like to clean up weeds and trees with chem in the spring and see what you have. Graze it pretty hard so it gives less aggressive grasses a chance. I buzzed a 30 year abandoned place I thought was all Texas winter grass. Turns out there’s probably 10 kinds of grass out there, but the tree shade had let the winter grass take it. I still need to get the NRCS guy out there to tell me what all I have. But it went from I’m not sure the cheap rent and having to do fence is justifiable for what’s here to wow this is a nice cow pasture I may not have to feed hay this year.
