I listened to Yahoo Finance on Roku today. There was someone from Bloomberg (I think) that stated that the price of oil may actually dip today. The president asked China to stop Iran from shutting down the Strait of Hormuz. Why is that interesting? See information from search below.

A significant amount of oil passes through the Strait of Hormuz and is ultimately destined for China. Specifically, China imports roughly 5.4 million barrels of crude oil daily through the Strait of Hormuz. This constitutes a large portion of China's total oil imports and is essential for meeting its energy demands, according to CBS19.

China also imports a large percentage of Iran's oil exports, with some estimates suggesting that China purchases over 90% of Iran's oil that passes through the Strait of Hormuz, according to Kpler.
