It's most likely the capacity of the electrical grid, to carry to amount of power, is the limiting factor. The high temps further reduce the carrying capacity of the grid, that's likely already being pushed at or close to its limit. If the grid can't carry the power, there's no need to produce the power in the first place.
So you are saying that they are asking people to shut down the a/c not because they are short of power but because of the heat it can't get to people? What does the heat have to do with it? |
