NC Ohio | Something does not look right. Even with the air bags empty I don't think the chain should have enough slack to hang out the bottom. Was the chain pinched in the door when you turned on the PTO? The air bags get run at 40 PSI max., if you need a new bag go to a truck repair shop and they will be about half the price of NH. Keep a repair link and a replacement slat on hand just in case.
They are a hard core baler and will make a nice bale if fed right. The option do vary, they came with string tie or net wrap. Mine is string tie with a basic controller that operates the electric actuator for the dual twine arms. I have had issues with the twine arms sticking and not wanting to move, now I partially extend them and I have not had as many issues. Mine also has the auto eject, leave the PTO on when dumping and as the gate gets so high the chains will run in reverse to eject the bale. It also has the standard narrow 4' pickup, some have he optional wide pickup. The narrow really needs some gathering wheels if you have a wide windrow.
