| Usually has good grass bank, just takes management.
I was told I was stupid for buying CRP and taking it out so take me advice for what it’s worth. I will hopefully die broke but with some paid for ground with improved native grass. Here it’s fire (not common and gets all the town folk driving by when doing a planned burn) also short duration high density grazing. Also I hammer it in the winter and try to roll out hay to improve it. It spent years getting raped and needs some OM.
Different area but what I’m doing and will keep doing.
