The Ag Cams are far better quality than the cheapies on the market. I would just put them on the lid. This way you can hinge them out and wipe the lens if needed.
We have cheapies on our Flexi. They work OK, but not as clear as the Ag cams I have seen. Just plugged them into the FMX and they worked. No unlocks or extra costs which is nice :)
