Best I remember was kept at low pressure in aluminum tanks same smell as NH3
needed to inject it
FWIW when we ran NH3 years back to calibrate knife to knife weighed 1/2 full 5 gal buckets of water on a bathroom scales put knives in the water
let NH3 run for a bit weigh buckets to make sure each knife was putting out "equal" amounts
