Wisconsin | If you want to clean it up, I'd experiment with phosphoric acid, usually it will clean up the rust and really make the paint or porcelain look better than it is. It might ruin the collector value, but if my name was on it, the collector could pound sand. Ospho or other rust converters is what I'd try, this isn't one to use dairy acid on, usually contains sulfuric acid also, not good for anything here. | |
