| Your bags need air before even thinking about running it, can't remember on the 848 whether it is the same as the larger ones or not, but 40 to 60 psi in the bags is the recommended pressure range for my 855, I change my air pressure depending on crop and its moisture condition....................Highly recommend you invest in a manual, some people around me hated their chain balers.................yeah that would be the case if you didn't know how it should be setup or how to run it.
Lube those chains up really good once you air the bags up, if those are rusty and hanging up that isn't helping your cause. 5 gal bucket and dump them in the tailgate where the hoses from the oil tanks go while its running.
Which tie setup is on it? | |
