I usually hit them with a grinder before I put them on. But they are so worn down I broke the center guard that’s wide last year and just put a regular one on it. I have bought a few new ones thinking I’d just replace them slowly. I used to cut a lot of trashy stuff that you broke lots of things. But they are so trashed you can’t mix a new one in or it binds up.
