Subject: Exporting GPS from Trimble display to Deere 2630 issue. Why?

Follow up to my earlier post-I’ve run section control on both of my 1770 24 row planters by sending GPS from the Trimble Nav II controller to the 2630 for 7 years and it worked flawlessly. Recently the touchscreen on my 15 year old FMX quit working so I decided to upgrade to a newer display, in this case the GFX 1260 and NAV900 controller. For whatever reason from the word go the 2630 refuses to map properly despite all the NMEA settings being the same as they were in the FMX. Just guessing but it appears that the 2630 has no idea where it is despite the fact that it shows to have the proper signal. In the meantime I sent the FMX off to be repaired and today I had a licensing issue with the 1260 so rather than wait for it to be resolved I stuck the FMX back in the tractor and immediately the mapping and section control on the 2630 went right back to working perfectly. I wish I could figure this out because these FMXs aren’t going to last forever and I don’t want to do another upgrade and deal with what’s going on now with the 1260.
