My wife worked full time until our oldest child was born. She didn't go back to work again until our youngest went into kindergarten some 7 years later. When she did go back it was for only three days a week. It's been going on that way now for 23 years. I wouldn't want her to & neither would she want to work full time off the farm. If you can afford it have her stay home with your kids until they at least go to school. I think my wife would be bored around here if she didn't work off the farm part time.
