Subject: RE: I 70 south

S Illinois
Normally roughly 1/4 of IL soybean acreage and 15-18% of corn acreage is in that south of I-70 area. There used to be good breakdowns but I haven't seen a nice condensed version lately.

Here is the 2018 version. p. 23-27 breaks down IL acreage by area of the state that year.

Edit: And dont get me wrong, it's been a tough spring to get a stand. However, there are some decent crops coming along even in S IL. Will it be a bin buster, no way. But if the stand is there, the growing season is long enough that a lot can be made up on the back end. The heat going forward and the last couple days and dryness are exactly what is needed currently.
