| Penicillin and C&D antitoxin(if you can find it), they will lay on their side and generally look uncomfortable in the beginning stages, then they will stagger as if drunk mid stage, then they die, I’d guess 12-18 hours for whole process, it happens quick
The clostridium poisons them, the C&D reverses it
Last I checked this spring, it was on unavailable, on back order
I used to give my calves an oral I think it was called bovicol +C20 at birth, healthiest calves I ever had, they quit making it few years ago, something to do with equine origin,not sure why | |
