Yep, this is correct. Something about the disc openers going through the soil was enough to break up the concentration of the product on the soil surface (rain works too). I’ve only seen it once - used pre emerge and the beans started snapping off after a wind in mid July. Guy had done it that way for years and that was the only time he’d ever had the problem.

Don’t know if it was the 3.3ec formulation only or if that applies to the h20 version as well - heck I don’t even know what formulations are available anymore.
