Subject: RE: EZ Drops review

Northeast Indiana
We have had the 360 ydrops for 5 years now. What are the bottom wings that rust and fall off? Other than the drop pole, ours are poly with stainless steel barbs the y hoses attach to. I feel like the stiffness and weight of the 360 ydrops really makes them the best for consistency of UAN placement. I do think the EZ drops are a pretty good design though, and like the mounting options they have available. It would be nice to not have the sub boom that 360 ydrops use and to have an individual arm for each drop/row that can be more easily removed when just spraying.

edit: Other than the very center section, we leave the sub boom on all the time and just remove the actual drop pole that clips into the mount. While its not really been a problem leaving it on, its bulky, adds extra weight, and makes the sprayer wider.
