Nice post, Dave. Just curious, how do they both claim to believe in efficient market hypothesis and then select single stocks? I was under the impression efficient market hypothesis believers basically just used a total stock / bond mix. VTI for example. I imagine it is hard for an advisor to justify their AUM fee if they allocate this way.
