| Not saying everything was perfect before Trump, but we may not realize how good it actually was prior to Trump, especially the second term. People in the 1920's never saw the 30's coming, lot of farmers in the 70's never foreseen the 80's. Trump is reorganizing the world. Carter's grain embargo made other nations question USA's reliability as a grain supplier. I am not sure if it was that or an earlier trade policy that made Japan (I think) really invest in Brazil as an alternate supplier (this was in the late 70's, early 80's time frame) . China picked up on this later, not just to diversify source; they don't want USA to benefit in any way.
Trump's policies may be the best thing that ever happened for USA but I would give that a less than 5% chance.
I also think there is a low but a non zero chance midterm elections will not be held (especially in some states).
