West Tennessee | My wife quit her RN job after 20 years in 2005 and came to work for me (with me?) at my office. I have to say it was one of the best decisions we ever made. Yes it has been trying at times as we knew it would. I say way too much sometimes (understatement) and she tolerates me quite a lot. As fate would have it, I was fairly seriously injured shortly after she came to work here. I was in the hospital for 5 days and recovery took over 4 months. It would have been VERY difficult for us if she was still having to work full time. That one situation alone about made the whole deal worth it for me forever. May seem silly to some but that's the way I feel. Prior to doing this I would have told you that I would NEVER have my wife come to work here full time. Boy how do times change. Now we discuss all major business decisions together. I don't always get my way which is quite frustrating sometimes. I'm sure it's frustrating for her when I do. :-) | |
