Here in our climate in northeast Colorado if you swath and bail something, it’s definitely not regrowing. Some years the weeds don’t even regrow. I know millet is only planted a touch under the surface. Some people will just broadcast it here. I would be worried they would go to bite the plant and it would pull the whole thing up.

But I definitely wouldn’t Graze Sadan grass. That stuff gets high nitrates from hell. I’ll never grow that stuff again. It’s supposedly a drought tolerant crop but a drought is 15 inches in most places. A drought here is 2 inches.
