| I know we have been talking about this alot recently. We've got a 3 year old, one on the way in august. My husband farms with his dad and it could support us. I would be able to quit after i get my 52 week paid mat leave. It came down to dollars coming in though, and as nice as it would be, i enjoy having my job for the social aspect. Our daughter loves daycare and i think it would be hard for both of us to adjust being home together so much.
Hopefully something we can do in the future, but for right now at our age, it is for sure a better idea to keep on working. We are lucky to have such a long mat leave though. I can have a little year long taste of what it would be like to stay home. | |
