W Texas | I didn't bring my family up, and won't be criticizing them on here, that's for certain.
I'm just trying to keep your from embarrassing yourself and especially your family, but sometimes the best advice is the most unwelcome.
If you want some more good advice to help you nut up and stay in livestock, how about getting rid of those side circus Wagyu's and getting some better cattle that don't have so much trouble calving?
We have plenty of them down here in TX and they don't have to be butterballs to rebreed and they nearly always calve unassisted.
Your situation reminds me of the neighboring dairy farmer that was selling out years ago. He'd complain his kids didn't want to dairy and a minute later, he'd say those Holsteins HAVE to be milked three times per day EXACTLY eight hours apart. Get some better cattle and calving season won't be such a rodeo. Cattle better than Wagyu's should be easy to find. | |
