Aren't you doing show cattle? That's a whole different level than what most of us do. I like to tell myself it takes the same time to care for 80 as it does 20. But that's not true. Is there a scale that could better simplify your business if you eliminated that mindset?
The more I fight my wife and more I miss my daughter growing up, I agree it's probably not worth it.
I often have to remind my wife and myself that it's not really the 15 hours a week with cattle as much as the 55 hours a week on the chain gang working for "the man," that pulls me away. Maybe the cattle can get me off the chain gang someday and then it's 15 hours of cattle work and 55 hours of free time. Still have to spend time in marriage counseling so must be doing something wrong.
Why will your investment get cut 4 ways? Are you saying the land will be split no matter what you build? I think you are. But I don't see any reason your investment would be cut 4 ways. Your investment will be returned to you.
