perryton, tx | It’s very common around here. For whatever reason in the last few years it’s really expanded its coverage and become the predominant grass in some pastures that were previously a mix of short and mid grasses of various species. We have one pasture that my dad used to let a local seed company come in and combine it when it was mature. I’ll try to get a photo tomorrow.
