Historically, no.
Those with access to information you don't have, have power over you.
Grain companies want to buy grain as cheap as they can and sell it as high as they can. That's directly at odds with producers needs. Guess who has access to better information, a nationwide grain trading conglomerate, or a producer in Kansas?
Why do we need USDA numbers?
