Subject: end users

Seymour, IL
you would rather end users and others come up with some numbers?

Things may be inexact, but everyone seems to forget that numbers are a calculation of a point in time.
everyone gets their panties in a wad about projected yields, but statistics and trend analysis are powerful tools.
science and technology have added 1.5 to 2 bu year to corn yields, but people don't want to acknowledge it.

and regardless of what you might think, the data is not just made up
that is typically the response from those who don't look (or don't want to look) at how the numbers are calculated.

cheers
