Got 150 acres went from excellent to average in five mins. It’s a long summer.
Yeah, we got our first rain with runoff today since...well I can't remember. It also gave us 20-50% greensnap on our early corn. We had some hail on some but just leaf damage and they won't pay on that much if any pre tassle. Probably some stalk bruising, but they won't pay on that either at this stage. I'll still take the rain, we have been dry too many years in a row and we will probably still be dry when it counts, but again...very thankful for the rain. |
