Central SD | Things are pretty well at a stand still in South Dakota. Summit no longer has the right of eminent domain to access property for survey access. These surveys must be completed for a PUC application to be completed. They also can’t likely find a route of agreeable land owners through the state, especially after suing 160 of them in the last application. Their public relations department has really screwed the pooch.
On a side note, as it sits right now, Iowa does NOT technically have a permit from their IUB. The permit they approved was contingent on permit approval in other states, including South Dakota. | |
