What is it worth to you and your wife to have your 9 month old at home instead of at daycare? It may be difficult to calculate the economics of your decision, but having someone to help on the farm can make a big difference in timeliness. The little things she can help with will add up quickly, and as a result you can get that 80 planted before a rain, or finish harvest before a big storm.
