| A lot of the people in nursing homes are there after they fell and were taken to a hospital,,,even after my mother fell and went into the ltc my father would say he was never going to go there....Guess what he fell too and ended up in a room down the hall,,,,if you can't walk and are too weak to get into and out of a wheel chair you no longer call the shots.
Hospitals will not let an individual that is bedridden go home unless you can prove you have 24 hour care lined up,,,and that is not as easy as you would think | |
