Looks like with current s and d tables we would need about a 184 crop to get to a 2 billion bushel carryout which in your mind should equal low to mid $3 range. Will be a tough pull if that happens. Meanwhile we will be encouraging demand and with tight global stocks be setting up for next bull run hopefully.
Forget about historical stocks and use. Demand isn’t rising.
Since 2004, we have increased acres and increased production per acre to the point, we are producing 40+% more total bushels.
The markets are telling you we have enough to get to harvest and if we don’t, Brazil has plenty.
Tomorrow that could change, but that is fact today. |
