NEIA
We do sometimes. Wife uses a recipe from the net. We use pork shoulder that we grind. She will use a piece of 4" pvc to form the patties and then puts them on a pan to freeze them. Then into a bag for whenever. Just a week ago we made a big batch of breakfast sausage. We used a LEM seasoning mix for that. A local place has some good deals on pork. Last purchase was bone in pork sirloin roast. 99 cent a pound. Bought a 40# case. Didn't use it all for sausage. Some ended up as ground pork. I weighed everything from start to finish. Ended up with a 15% loss for the bones. So about $1.15 for the meat. That was after putting the bones in a couple crockpots and making stew out what was left on the bones.
