NeMO | To a point. Farmers dont set the price and farmers have bills to pay. Hence why we are price takers and not price makers. Why have exports been so strong on corn? Cause the buyers know they're getting a bargain. You can make the chicken and egg argument all day long but I dont see how you can argue that funds are helping to depress the corn market lower than it should be.
Edit to add: it sure was quite the coincidence that adm basis cratered nationwide the day before the epa proposal announcement.
