cropsey, il 61731 | In ECIL, it seems we need a well timed 3 week drought to run yields up and scare prices up. It worked quite well 2 years ago.
I'm pretty sure we have nothing like 2012 coming, but I do remember things looking really good into the 1st week of June and then it stopped raining. I listened to a weather guy state that we are at the same latitude as the Saharan desert and we would be more desert like accept we have oceans bordering the country. However, if conditions line up we can get quite dry. Thankfully, it doesn't and that's why we grow crops here. | |
