S.C. Wisconsin | A lot of rhetoric posted here but few answers on how the work is going to get done. The standard answer is they have to pay more. just remember if they pay more they would be taking away employee's from other businesses leaving a labor void for those businesses. Then there is the inflation factor that the same people complain about. Then the next answer is they should make the welfare people take these jobs. I have to answer is that how many of those people would be employable? A lot of those people are single mothers with kids with deadbeat fathers, and then a lot of those people have addiction problems or mental problems. The labor pool has changed from the 50's and 60's as the low birth rate has been much lower compared to the baby boomers era. My kids were all college educated and have good jobs now. I didn't tell them not to get educated because they can work at a meat packing company. The answer is very simple to throw out the unworkable rhetoric and give these people who are productive workers and have clean records a work permit. After all the work has to get done. | |
