I use rail with shipping container loads so it may be a little different, they could have fees for loading and dumping the grain. I ship loads 2,500 miles that are only allowed to have 42,000 lbs on them for 7.5 cents a lb up .13 cents a lb in the Covid days. Lately it has been around 9 cents. I guess that gives you a range for how they bill. It normally takes about 10 days to receive a container when we book a ship date.
