Fontanelle, IA | Question for rail freight experts and I hope that Rod@night will chime in.
If ND corn basis is 45-75 under but SE /extreme US corn basis is 45 to 70 over, how much would rail freight cost for unit trains of corn from ND to there? Obviously the rail routes /switches don’t favor the movement; however, would the $.90 to $1.40 basis spread make it work? | |
