Plans for a celebration have been in the works for some time. It only became a full fledged military parade within the last few months.
We have parades in this country to “celebrate” many things that are 100% stupid (and in some cases mentally ill).
I have absolutely no problem with a parade to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Army.
The fact that liberals are losing their minds because Donald Trump was born on the same day is just icing on the birthday cake.
