Subject: RE: Corn fungicide timing

Higginsville, MO
I have been doing the V4 to V5 herbicide post for last 6 or 7 years. Do a half rate since plants smaller. Been just for plant health, and my corn does seem to hold disease back better than other fields ive looked at. Is there a yield bump, cant 100% tell but a healthy plant will be more likely to keep its yield potential it already has. I suggess that V2 or V3 is too early because the fungicide will light it up. Found that out this year, V5 wont see hardly any burn.
