I agree with your empathetic view, the views of the church you attend, and the reality about who does most of the manual labor in many industries in the U.S.
When Oscar Mayer ran the packing plant in Perry 2 generations ago, there was a lot of middle-class wealth in the community.
But now that places like Tyson run (and since closed) these packing plants, you are better off just owning the stock and knowing that they generally have pretty good profits by sourcing cheap labor. | |
