Have a friend who plants 15 inch row, corn, has a 24 row Corn head. Most of his is combine. I run 36 row 20 inch corn about 80% of it, combined for Grain. 15% is made into snaplage and the last 5% is chopped as whole corn. Farm right on the Wisconsin Illinois border. it helps a lot for erosion control, weed control, and on the poor ground we do see an increase in yield. If you have 5 foot of nice black topsoil, you probably will not see any increasing yield from narrow rows…..Dennis
