Rain and breakdowns have put me behind on corn post spray. Mid may planted gettin over a foot to knee high. I have sprayed some bigger corn in the past. Always use gly atz meso dual wondering if I should skip atz?
Knee high to me is 20 inches which is probably v7-v8 depending upon how cool you’ve been and how short the internodes are stacked due to the coolness.
Which means you are probably close to canopy which means all the oil in the dual is extra surfactant that is going to end up in the whorl.
Which to me, means you and only you can WEIGH the amount “risk” to chemical injury to yield VS. the amount of yield that would be stolen by out-of-control wooly carpet of weeds (which it does NOT sound like you are expecting).
I have had to rescue fields in the past. Whether I dinged them with the herbicide concoction at the upper/upper limit of the label or the weeds stole the yield at the beginning of the “season”, I do not know. Personally, I would only do gly if you are in the tall, tall early corn.
