Some like the Enchanted Highway (Regent, ND) but that's kind of not the right direction for you.
Of course the famous Medora and you can drive through the Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Its somewhat neat to drive 1 time. But at the same time there's a good rest area along I94 on the East side before you get to Medora that has beautiful views. Looks like I94 Exit 32 based on Google Maps street view. At least stop in there even if you dont do Medora.
How far into Montana are you going?
Steiger always lays off every year when it slows down and hires when it picks up.
Summer is when they are usually retooling.
