NW Illinois | Mixed results. Did small amount of Surtain @ 14 oz, which is low 3’s of Zidua and was a total fail on grass and waterhemp. Had rain to activate. Did 500 acres of Zidua @ 4 oz with 1 lb atrazine and it didn’t have grass but waterhemp like crazy. All other corn acres I sold chems on was Volley Atz and it worked great as usual.
Soybeans was all 3.5 to 3.75 oz Zidua, with 2/3 getting 4 oz of Pursuit and 1/3 getting 2 oz of Canopy. Will finish tomorrow post spraying 2nd pass. All has been on the ground as long as the corn(now close to 50 days)and while not perfect, we’ll likely use it again. We did all Metolachor last year on soys and had a disaster with waterhemp. | |
