Plant the seed in the field, more than one spot would be better.  Plant corn, tomatoes, and cucumbers.  Plant somewhere that was not sprayed as well to have something to compare to, would be good if this is in a wheat field as well to reduce the number of differences.  Corn would most likely come up and then just not grow if there is a problem so can take some time to tell if there is a problem.
