NW MN | ND governor Armstrong made comments last week on enhanced oil extraction.
“We’re the geographic center of North America. We’ve got to get gas out and CO2 in. Those are the two things. If you want to strip down everything, if you can’t move the gas out or use the gas and you can’t move CO2 in for enhanced oil recovery, we’re stuck on this 85% number. So how we get that infrastructure in place to allow companies to do that is much more important than a six-month flutter in oil and gas prices,” he said.”

He tells the truth at least while Summit stills maintains it’s not the plan.
“The Summit Carbon Solutions project will not be used for enhanced oil recovery. The permits we have filed, which specifies exactly what we are requesting from regulators, note clearly that our project is about the permanent sequestration of CO2.”

Personally I think carbon pipeline might be beneficial for the nation but I detest the lies about its partial purpose and the use of eminent domain to get it built.
