Subject: How close to a 32% and ATS band to plant Sweet Corn?

South Central Illinois

I laid down 5 passes of a 50/50 blend of 32% and ATS.
All on top of each other.
This was 10 days ago.
We have had some showers, no soaking rain so far.
This was with the corn planter fertilizer system.
The corn planter is 30” rows.
The planter has a pair of fertilizer openers on each row.
Should be 25 gallon of 32% and 25 gallon of ATS.
88# of N plus 33# of N plus 71# of S
I flagged the strips and then leveled the patch.
I probably should plant between the strips.
What would happen if I planted on top of the strips?
All of the fertilizer is in something like a 6” band.
The Sweet Corn planter is 36” rows.
So I can somewhat straddle some of the fertilizer zone.
I could set the rows up 46” spacing.
It would take a couple of hours and an extension for the 9/16 hex drive shaft.
