Hooker Twp,Ne | Tell me about it- Have a wife that’s been in LTC for 2 yrs after a severe stroke. Plus I go there at breakfast and supper time to make sure she gets two warm meals daily. Then come in the traveling nurses. Takes two weeks to get them use to routine and then in two-four weeks they are gone to another facility. However I’m thankful for the local one in my area. It was started by a family in the mid 80s that sold all their land ( before the land crash) and built a nice facility. The facility also has a daycare where many of the young kids in the area go. My wife worked there for about 10-15 yrs until her health started to fail. | |
