| Both of my parents were in a nursing home at the same time,,,it would have been cheaper to have someone live with them at home,but it would have taken 3 nurses averaging 56 hours a piece to take care of them,plus some of the rehab and facilities would not have been available at home. They both went into the nursing home after falls,,I was told that you can't legally move them home unless you have full time help lined up, We had loked at in home help while they were still using walkers and just having part time help was expensive,,,nurses are in demand and can pick up overtime at their regular jobs with fewer headaches than checking on someone part time. | |
